A homebased telemarketer has the saddest life of all.

1) The poor fella call hundreds of people daily and get hung up on or scolded by half of the hundreds.

2) The remaining quarter of them are nice people who decided to make an appointment with her.

3) But the half of the remaining quarter decided to turn evil overnight and deny making any with her.

4) and the poor telemarketer ended up earning $0 after spending hours on phone and had her brain burnt by radiation from the phone.

5) and the poor telemarketer is me.

I was trying to stay alive after a struggle with tremendous boredom when I stumbled upon this useless job. and decided to take it up cause I was just too bored. and ended up with a lifetime of regrets. hahaha.

But I'm happy now cause I'm meeting my girls tonight (to camp :x) anddddd they're going to be with me on the first minute of my birthday! :D

Today is not Friday
It is not-my-day.

woke up @ 6.30am to prepare to head to NIE for some administrative stuff and the weather just has to be so nice to sleep in when I've to get up early.

The train was crowded and then came a Mr Kiasu who die die has to squeeze into the crowd so that he could stand in front of the seats and his wish soon came true when someone got off the seat and he squeezeeeeeed and pussssssh his way for it.

The painfully long journey finally ended when I reached Boon Lay and I was running late. And 2 people insisted to stand on the right side of the escalator and refused to move down, blocking a whole row of people behind.

And the real agony came when I finally arrived @ NIE and realised the whole thing is CANCELLED! And what actually informed me about it was a notice pasted on a random wall in NIE. And the whole orientation thing in NIE is cancelled and we'll all just head for school on 11 August when the term officially starts.

And the turn-off thing is that I'm going to feel like a secondary sch kid all over again. Dress codes poster were pasted all over the walls because we're on payroll and we're a reputation to keep as teachers. No shorts, no tanks, no sleeveless, no slippers, no sandals. and the list goes on.

and the canteen tables are seriously of primary school layout.

Then on my way back, the train was full of irritants too. 3 people were not talking but shouting at one another in their very high pitch voice throughout the journey and the volume is really like...u turn on the volume of your PC to the max and that's how loud it is. NOT KIDDING.

The culture in Taiwan is just opposite. Everyone keeps to the lane they're supposed to stand and queue up behind a line while waiting for th train even if it's packed with people.

It's really not against the people but the level of consideration people have for one another on trains. Sometimes people really have to learn how to let people alight before dashing in in search of seats and learn to keep to the right lane of the escalator.

It's been a month since I've blogged decently!

So last Sunday, I was randomly and suddenly struck by the fact that school is starting in
ONE WEEK'S TIME. & that explained my eventful week cause I don't wanna let myself down by wasting my last week of freedom! :X

So I met gypsy for gym on Mon, shopping on Tues, badminton on Wed and met gypsy + gianhui + huiru + kylie for movie on Thurs!

clap clap, cause I enjoyed myself tremendously! And it's also why my bank is $xx hungrier. Not because everything's expensive but precisely cause everything's going at such a great and irresistible price!

Let's do abit of auntying.

1) I bought 3 tops, all plus minus 10 bucks when they used to go at 20 over bucks.

2) We tried cheesecakes @ Bakerzin cause they are going off at 60% cheaper and tell me who will not be tempted.

3) We shared a packet of Macarons cause we are sua gu people who have not tried it before and since it's having a discount....why not. hahaha. But both of us concluded that we hated them except for the choc flavour maracon.

4) Then we went for 1 for 1 Swensens Lunch Offer cause it sound really appealing..but it was horrid cause the portion's really not satisfying and worse still, BURNT. I was served baked rice with 2 burnt prawns stuck in the middle :(

5) After which, we bought perfumes! which we spent one whole afternoon smelling many different ones repeatedly cause we're irritating indecisive people.

& guess what, all these hard-earned money was spent

just
in
Tampines!

ever since I stopped working, I've been surviving on tuition fees and homebased telemarketing which is very do-not-try unless you're bored to the max and enjoy being fang ge zi.

& Actually all these started with our search for backpacks and we ended up buying all the you-de-mei-de instead of what we really wanted. :x

***

k enough of unhealthy shopping craze, we had healthier activities too!
Gym was effective despite the fact that both of us have bad broken wound on our knees! And it was so effective that we ended up with aches shoulders down and the butt's really the worst victim.

Then badminton was even more effective cause my dear gypsy made me run from left to right then front to back then left to right again just to catch that sacred shuttlecock. And we were deadbeat just in the 1st hour! Very lousy I know! Then sth more interesting happened during the 2nd hour.

I SPRAINED MY LEG.
NOT DURING THE GAME
BUT WHILE STONING WHEN GYPSY WENT TO PICK UP THE SHUTTLECOCK

As sick as ever, photos are available!

My normal and healthy left ankle

& the pig trotters right leg. WHERE'S MY ANKLE!!

How on earth can anyone injure themselves for no reason? ya..other than me! And it's not my first time.

I fell a week ago in Taiwan while walking down an unbelievably even pavement.

So before I headed out for badminton, my mummy warned me to be careful and not come back with a missing toe or sprained leg. and urgh, can't believe I hit the jackpot and I had to keep it to myself to save myself from a nasty scolding :(

anyone knows if it's possible to go tie da without having to bandage the leg?

***

then today, went out with the girls, with the ever weird name called The CO Gathering.
hahaha. cause all of us were very close classmates/schoolmates rather than CO mates. Went Iluma to watch The Murderer and it was pretty good! I mean the starting. The plot was good, the characters were cute/hunky/gorgeous (xcept for the victims urgh) but the ending was totally weird!

But it can't be more weird than the pei pei who was snoring aloud throughout the show beside us while watching a rather thrilling show and the C people behind us who were happily and loudly munching and discussing their tidbits.

Blog bout the dinner with CPF mates, Joycelyn/Jasmine/Sherlin's Bday & Taiwan trip another time cause it's super late & time to sleeeeeep :D

Goodnight!
